HELLO THERE! Well yeah schools finally coming to an end! Honestly, yeah i would wait last minute to do these blogs, but i never disliked doing them. I think it’s a good way for the students, including myself, to write about our different thoughts on similar topics. We all don’t share much in class, but the blog posts share our thoughts which helps the teachers and the other classmates. Some did not put much effort into their blogs, but that will lead to their own consequences. We also interact with other classmates by posting comments and sharing our opinions to them. I think that Ms. Hunt should continue doing blogs for the upcoming 9th graders and the ones after them as well!(:
MY BUCKET LIST~
I never really thought of the things I wanted to do before I die, because I don’t like to think about my death but here are a few I would like to do.
1) Go back to Rome where I was born
2) Go skydiving
3) Build a chocolate factory like Willy Wonka’s
4) Fly a plane
5) Play basketball on a real NBA court
6) Cliff diving
7) Go to the moon
8) Bungee Jump
9) Ride a hot airballoon
10) Get to say goodbye to everyone I want before I die.
BULLYING IS A NONO.
I think that bullying can not be stopped, because bullying are commonly for a reason going on or something that happened in the past of the bully’s personal life. Kids that get abused or have been made fun of when they were younger usually bully others from their personal experience not realizing what they are doing. Teachers can help by stopping any bully situations and sending them to the counselors office. The counselors must try to talk to the students as much as possible to get the bully to talk about why he/she is doing this. Parents can help by treating their children right. Parents that hurt their child or always treat them wrong can result to the child turning into a bully to others. Taking time and talking to their kids will also help the kids be able to tell their parents about whats going on in their lives and what they think is unfair. Students can help by standing up for the one who is being bullied. By standing up for one does not mean to start being cruel to the bully, but to help him realize what he is doing is not right and to protect the one who was being bullied. Cyber bullying can be punished by a ban on their internet uses for a certain amount of time.
What I will always remember~!!(:
When I grow older, something I will never forget from the age I am now is the feeling of pressure on me to do my best to have a good start on my GPA. Freshmen year is new and different from the years before. Most adults now only remember the dramas, sports, popularity, and the social part of their past life most. The stress put at this age is very tough and a big struggle. Adults have a lot of stress on them as well from their job, family, and more, but the stress when they were younger is different. They do not remember this part of their high school life, which could also lead to them not understanding their children’s side of an argument.
My Time To Teach! :D
If I had the last 5-10minutes of class, I would teach dancing. Dancing is something I am confident in. Although there are many better dancers out there, I dance because it is something I enjoy and makes me happy. There are many moves in break dancing, but they all base off of similar moves. I would start off with the easiest and most basic moves. It may be harder for some people, but if they were to practice it, then over time it will get easier. Practice makes perfect!(:
Grammar Manner!
There are two specific grammar errors that I make almost every time. Using apostrophes and the different times you use lay and lie.
I used to have the same trouble, but if you are still troubling with the difference of “affect” and “effect,” I have some tips that may help!(:
When using the word “affect,” it is commonly used as a verb. The loss of one player affects the whole team. Most of the time, “affect” is used by the meaning, “to have an influence on.”
“Effect” is the after effect. I think of the effect as an outcome or result of something. If there is an affect on a situation, then there will be an effect to it. This is most commonly used as a noun. When i punched the wall, the effect was that i made a whole in that wall. When “effect” is used as a verb, it is most likely used for the meaning of, “to create.”
Just always remember if a situation is affected, then there will be an effect to it. Hope this helped!:)
Personal Assistant of the Week~!!
If I had to choose a personal assistant from the list of names give, I would choose Steve Jobs. He was a man that dropped out of school and started his own business. He had faith and now his technology is being used everywhere! For the whole week I have him, I would try to make him write and create as much new technology ideas as possible. Some projects that he could work on are how the Iphone will keep advancing, and a whole new technology that hasn’t come out yet. Also if i got the chance, I would try to ask him for a job in his company, because I love the Apple company. And also watching from beside, I may learn how he thinks of these ideas and it could possibly help me in the future with having to think of anything starting from a simple project to a new idea for future job. He is a very intelligent man and I believe that he could think of new ideas within a week.
Alternate ending to Romeo and Juliet
In the end, Romeo comes to see if the rumors of his lover was dead. Seeing the body of Juliet he weeps and takes out his poison. Right before it touches his lip, Juliet wakes up and stops him. In shock, Romeo hugs her right away with joy. Paris comes in with flowers and sees this unbelievable sight. Raging with fury, he pulls out his sword and challenges Romeo. Juliet tells Paris that if he loves her, then he would not fight Romeo. Paris still upset, runs out and tells both the Montagues and Capulets that Juliet is alive. Instead of both families getting angry, they realize that both Romeo and Juliet are in love with each other and that going through all of this deserves for them to be together. Since Capulet allowed Juliet to be in love with Romeo, Paris had no other choice but to let her go. The two lovers later remarry with both of their parents attending.

Magic Dust~!! :D
If there was such thing as a magic dust that can age you by ten years, I would definitely not take it. Yes I would like to be older, but I do not wanna skip any years of my life. Every minute should be counted precious, because we can not ever go back in time so I think we should live out every second and make memories! As we grow older we look in the past and wish to go back. If I did breathe it in, my life could have been better with not worrying about all the studying for tests and worrying so much about grades, but my life could also get worse by having to find a job, pay for all the bills, and all the needs for an adult. I think 10 years from now, I definitely will mature, but not so sure about other things. Some things that I would like to be the same is my friends that I am close with now. I will be different from now by the maturity level and my personalities may change also from how my life turns out to be. God will guide my life as I grow older and closer to becoming an adult.
Childhood Memory
It was hard to think of any pleasant childhood memories, so I decided to share my memory of the trip to Korea. Four years ago, when I was in 5th grade, my brother and I went to visit our relatives in Korea. Since my parents were not coming with us, my brother had to take care of me. He was only a freshman in high school and he had to take care of his younger brother(me) through the whole trip till we got to the airport in Seoul. Now that i am a freshman in high school, thinking of myself in my brother’s shoes 4 years ago is scary. I don’t think I would have been able to do that if I had a younger brother. We went through everything in the airport smoothly and arrived safely as well. While we were there, our uncle showed us around the country taking us to many different fun places! We also hung out with some of my brothers friends that took us to different amusement parks. After the whole trip, my brother took care of me again through the whole process going through the airport and flight back. I will always remember this memory of how he kept me safe and cared for me. Thanks brother and work hard in college!
